Giles 7 Yr. Old Ripen Stars Romp To District Title

The Giles County Cal Ripken 7-year-old All Stars outscored their
opponents 77-1 on their way to capturing the district title over the
weekend.
The 7s started with a 28-0 win over Marshall County Friday and
followed that up with a 37-1 win over Maury County. They wrapped up
the championship with a 12-0 win over Marshall County Saturday.
The 7s will be playing in the Cal Ripken State Tournament this weekend
at Avoca near Bristol, Tn.
