Pulaski Postmaster Retires, Heading Home To Lynnville Farm
Posted on June 22, 2012

Pulaski postmaster, Debbie Underwood has retired. Today (Friday) was her last day on the job.
"It's been a very happy-sad day," she said, explaining "I will miss the people, they are a wonderful group of people to work with and have had nothing to do with my reason for leaving."
Mrs. Underwood said she was offered an early out from the Postal Service and felt like the time was right to leave.
"I have five grandsons and they're all seven and under and I have lots of plans to spend a lot of time with them on our farm."
Mrs. Underwood is retiring to her family farm in Lynnville.
"I look forward to going home to the farm and being with my family," adding, "I am very blessed."
Mrs. Underwood has been with the postal service since 1986.
