McAllister Arraigned On New Charges

Maurice “Jimmy” McAllister was arraigned on ten new charges on Monday at the Giles County Courthouse. McAllister, who is charged with some 13 counts of abuse of youth in the local Amish community, was “arraigned by motion” which means he didn’t have to personally appear in court. The 80-year-old McAllister remains in the Giles County Jail on bond of 2.2 million dollars. No trial date has been set.
