Second Arrest In Triple Homicide

Giles County authorities have arrested a second teenager in connection with a triple murder that happened earlier this month. Eighteen year old Matthew Wood will be charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
Wood is the second person arrested in connection with the arson case that killed Desere Thornton and her two sons, 16 year old Jerrod and 9 year old Anthony.
The other suspect is eighteen year old William Angel, Jr.
Sheriff Kyle Helton says his deputies picked up Wood on Friday afternoon from the burn unit at Vanderbilt University's Medical Center.
