Hazmat Team Cleans Lawrenceburg Diesel Spill

A tractor trailer accident yesterday caused a diesel spill and a morning rush hour delay for many people on their way to work and school.
The truck veered off of Highway 43 in the Dunn community. According to the WDXE website, the Lawrenceburg Fire Department’s Haz-Mat responded to the scene.
Luckily, the only thing that needed to be cleaned up was the diesel spill. Fire Chief Don Kelly told WDXE that it could have been a lot worse if the truck spilled its load of sulfuric acid it was hauling.
