WKSR:
MMC "Boo-Out" Promises Fun For Children
Posted on October 23, 2008

For some students, a college can be a scary place, especially when they haven’t prepared for an upcoming exam. But at Boo-Out is the one event every fall where there’s nothing but fun and laughter for all.

The event is co-sponsored as a community service project by the Student Tennessee Educators Association and Kappa Delta Pi sorority. This year the event will be held from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, October 29th, in Martin Hall. MMC students will be dressing up as their favorite character from Dr Seuss or Winnie the Pooh.

Boo-Out is a long-standing tradition on the Martin Methodist College campus where students come together for a Halloween carnival for children from Head Start and the Child Development Center.
